St Mary's and Old Guild

The Guild

Please note:
This page will be updated when it is possible for us to meet together again.

The Guild meets from late September until April on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7pm in the Small Hall, Buccleuch Street. The meeting usual closes just after 8.30pm. Men as well as women are invited to attend.

Currently, the membership stands at 24 and meetings are regularly attended.

The session usually begins with an evening of entertainment and refreshments to which the congregation and friends are invited. The Candle Tea just before Christmas and the Hawick Night in early April are annual events in the Church Calendar and attract many guests not just from our own congregation but in the case of the Candle Tea, people invited from organisations connected with the Church and from Ladies' Fellowships around the town.

A Coffee Morning is held in the spring. There is plenty of opportunity for fellowship. If you would like to find out more please contact Guild Convenor, Carol Peat by telephoning 374741.
